Pool Party


Summer is almost over! So sad, but here is an awesome idea for a pool party. Of course I love the kaftans, but not an almost $700 Emilio Pucci! Also found almost the exact style bikini for so much less than the inspiration one. Soak up the sun for as long as you can, but don't forget the SPF.

Weekend off

I took the weekend off and enjoyed some outdoor activities. Saturday we did a version of a mud run in downtown Chicago and then took the pups to the dog beach. Sunday we walked around a food fair. Today I received 2 orders from my shop so tried to get those half way done! I will try to get some things posted for tomorrow!

Urban Outfitters overstock site


I went walking around Lincoln Park with my new niece in law, and she showed me where Urban has a store with all leftovers or whatever. I found this really cute dress originally $60 for $20! Pretty good deal, I may wear it to my brothers engagement party in a couple of weeks.

to a Lunch

I love color blocking. Again this is an Alice and Olivia dress on the left for $475!. I recreated the look with separates. You probably already have a solid tank and belt, and a long skirt. I need to get a long skirt and found a great one below, it just didn't go with this look. The outfit would look awesome with a long beaded necklace and some jewel bangles.

Birthday Dinner #2


Hubbie took me to a great steak house in Chicago, N9ne, which we have been to in Vegas. It was amazing, and then I was surprised with desert, a chocolate mouse cake with chocolate icee on top.. Happy Birthday to me! :) 
And the outfit, I chose to wear a dress I had, the details below. We were late because of me, surprise surprise, so I don't have really good pics. 



The dress: Just Cavalli: I bought it almost 4 years ago and I just got a chance to wear it now. I bought it from Gilt.com, I believe for $199, if you are not a member you should join!

Birthday dinner #1

I'm on a roll today! Here is my first birthday dinner outfit, of course I celebrate multiple times! 



Shirt: Forever21: $19.80, I bought it two months ago but can't seem to find it again online. This one is kind of close but in black, which I like. 
Shorts: Express Shorts, on sale for $12! How can you go wrong I bought 2 colors. 
Shoes: I love and bought last year from Bloomingdales. They are Via Spiga, I think I got them on sale for $80.00
Bracelet: Marshall's, I think $10.00
